What is Voyage Air Guitar?
Voyage Air Guitar is a foldable guitar; one of its kind in the whole world. It is a well-designed, factory-made and patented hinge and guitar. It does not incorporate any nanotubes or microchips. It makes it easy for guitar users to travel with a guitar or carry it around. It can hold the tuning when you fold it and afterwards unfold it.
Who Owns Voyage Air Guitar?
The guitar was created Jeff Cohen and his son Josh. They partnered with Adrian Bagale and Harvey Leach who helped them polish up the folding guitar technology. Jeff’s aim was and still remains to make high quality guitars that are very accessible and portable to match the adventurous and fast lifestyle that many musicians usually have. The guitar can bend on its neck due to a creatively designed hinge, the strings can be tucked into the hole and it can be stored away or put into a travel bag that is easy to carry. Currently, the two inventors and entrepreneurs have partnered with various international distributors, a move that has greatly boosted their profit and sales. They have also partnered with Fender and have made portable Fender Guitars.
When the company started manufacturing the guitars, the owners operated locally and worked hard to make as many guitars as possible. They sold 800 units which were priced at $500 each and made total sales of $400,000. However, due to the popularity and high demand for their product, they were not able to make the guitars fast enough to meet the demand. They needed extra funding to expand their company so that they could be able to build enough inventory. That is when they made the life-changing decision to go to Shark Tank.
