What is SubSafe?

The SubSafe is a container that protects submarine sandwiches from damage by water and pressure. A SubSafe is made of BPA-free plastic material which makes it float on water and a silicone sealing making it waterproof. It is also reusable and holds a sub of 6 to 12 inches. Apart from storage of subs, you can use a SubSafe to store anything else that can fit inside. SubSafe retail price is $17.95 and comes in three colors: blue, pink and charcoal.

Who Founded Subsafe?

Adam and Desiree Haller are the founders of the SubSafe. The two are a couple from Port Orange, Florida, and are inventors with different products in the market. They enjoy outdoor water activities including fishing, boating and the beach, which led to the invention of the subsafe.

Founder’s Story

The idea for the Subafe arose from constant frustration. Whenever the couple went into the waters, they could not keep their favorite sandwich dry and intact. They always pulled out an inedible wet and smashed sandwich from their coolers. The cooler did not seem to offer any protection, and they needed to find a suitable container. Adam didn’t like the idea of other plastic materials, so he went for the safest material used to make baby bottles. The SubSafe is water proof, floats on water and keeps the sandwich free from any physical damage.
