SlumberPod is the private, portable mini blackout tent for babies or toddlers. It was designed to fit and enclose cribs, playards, cots for a safe and dark sleeping environment. With the SlumberPod sleeping in the same room as your baby or toddler, can now be less stressful and more restful.

SlumberPod Before Shark Tank

The idea for SlumberPod came after co-founder Katy Mallory grew tired of endlessly looking for a product that could help curb the sleepless nights she experienced while traveling and sharing a room with her infant daughter.

Together with her co-founder and mother, Lou Childs, SlumberPod was born in 2016. The company began selling in mid 2018 after a successful Kickstarter campaign with 356 backers pledging $45,608.
Since then, the SlumberPod has seen accelerated growth with the help of influencers in the baby space. By the time SlumberPod had entered the shark tank, they had already done over $556,000 in sales.

SlumberPod Reviews

The SlumberPod has quickly become a favorite for babies and moms who appreciate its easy setup and effectiveness. The SlumberPod is available at Buy Buy Baby, Bed Bath and Beyond and Amazon.
On Amazon it has a 4.8 star rating with hundreds of reviews and dozens more across the internet including this honest SlumberPod review and this review of SlumberPod from a real mom.

Although the company has seen a successful run, it still faces competition on all four sides in the Baby Playards category from brands that include SnoozeShade, Alvantor and Milliard.
