Nah, it’s a garbage product and nothing has been fixed, also we have no evidence of the deal going trough since the device is a ripoff from an old old device. This article is therefore inaccurate and tries to portray someone as a genius entrepreneur while the reality is different.

It is a terrible product with even worse customer service. Sounds like screeching cats and I was terribly worried not only about the quality of the device, but my records as well. Purchased for my daughter for Christmas in November 2020. After realizing on Christmas day that it was not a quality product, I tried to return it but realized they only offer a 10 day window for returns. I kindly asked if they make holiday exceptions like most other stores and they said no. They must know how bad it sucks.
Product is junk, sound wobbles and stops when it wants. I tried to get a refund but customer service just says no after 10 days. Obviously the company does not stand behind their own product. DO NOT buy this. This is a scam of a company.
Naw, the rokblok really is another copy of a decades old product called the “Record Runner”, with a bluetooth module tossed in.
Many other users have found that subsequent batches have the exact same issues. Seems to be just a bad product in general.
No, honestly the hate is pretty justified:
RokBlok is nothing but a dumb gimmick. The only reason for buying vinyl records is for that authentic vinyl sound. Why would I buy vinyl records just to play it through the crappy rokblok speaker or even a high quality Bluetooth speaker. I can already play all the music in the world through my high quality Bluetooth speaker for free.
I bought one for my mom and she loves it. The built in speaker wasn’t really loud but the Bluetooth feature worked really well. Not sure what all the hate is about but I think it’s pretty cool.
