Who is the ReadeREST Founder?
According to Rick Hopper – Founder – ReadeREST | LinkedIn, Rick Hopper, despite no formal education, after six years working sales at Home Depot became the founder of TrimQuick and later ReadeREST. According to About Us – READEREST, Hopper decided, after his fortieth birthday, to create a solution to the problem of constantly dropping his own eyeglasses. It would be a long, slow process before he eventually refined his intial design of bent paper clips and magnets, which he made by hand, and turned it into the magnetic eyeglass holder known today as ReadeREST.
Rick Hopper, the entrepeuner responsible for sharing ReadeREST with over three million people, came up with his idea as a result of his frustration with keeping up with his own eyeglasses.
Creating his first version with a few common household items, Hopper quickly discovered there was a market for a magnetic eyeglass holder and, after much encouragement from those closest to him, eventually presented his idea to The Shark Tank.
Since then, he has expanded the market for ReadeREST beyond his own website. In addition to selling his product in stores, he is active both online and through television sales.
