What is Pinblock?
Pinblock is a construction block toy that is modeled to allow creative personnel to develop any toy they desire without the restriction of rigid building blocks.
The block allows bending and manipulation to fit desired shapes and outcomes and comes in different colors and sizes.
It aims to challenge the creator’s mental capacity to produce toys while still maintaining flexibility.
Who Founded Pinblock?
Pinblock was founded in 2014 by Vladislav Smolyanskyy. Previously, Mr. Smolyanskyy worked as a volunteer at Euromaidan New York. Together with other like-minded people, they helped bring people of Ukrainian origin together when clashes broke out in Kiev. Currently, he is the Architect and Product Design Engineer at Raindrop Media Management Inc.
Mr. Vladislav is passionate and motivated towards inspiring the minds of young people and thereby changing the future of the world. He is also interested in learning about business, especially after he immigrated to America from Ukraine. Vladislav and his childhood friend ShiJun founded Pinblock and built it upwards; and later incorporated it into the state of New York, prototype production, fundraising for full production, and introduction into the market. Notably, there were a myriad of challenges on the way up.
Mr. Vladislav claims that creativity was part of his childhood, and that was his idea when coming up with Pinblock. Pinblock aims to incorporate learning into playtime and fun. Additionally, losing his father at a young age pushes him to make himself and his business succeed, and make his widowed mother proud. He aims to change the narrative for kids whose parents are prioritizing school work over playtime.
