She also has an MBA in Computational Science from San Diego State University. She currently concentrates on running Pandaloon.

Founder’s Story

Eugenia posted a video of her on Youtube puppy running around her home while wearing a panda bear costume. The video went viral, gaining over 140 million views. It led to huge traffic on her website and put the business on the world map.

She started taking pre-orders for the costume. She continued to improve her product to meet the needs of anyone interested in transforming their pets into cute walking teddy bears. She also diversified her products to feature a floppy-eared bunny, a unicorn, and a lion.

Her passion and love for pandas goes beyond making apparel for them but for every sale she makes. She donates a portion of her income to Pandas International. She ensures that every costume she makes is designed for comfort, wearability, and cuteness. Ms. Chen is a steller academician who has also pursued research in Computational Neuroscience at the Salk Institute.
