What is ODR Ski Blades?

ODR Skis, also known as Sled Dogs is a uniquely crafted pair of skates that combine ice skating and skiing. These skates were created to avoid the hassles of lugging and carrying around bulky equipment, the compact design made their transportation hassle-free. These skates were designed with everyone in mind, ODR Skis are crafted for: beginners, enthusiasts, hockey players, and advanced skaters.

Who Owns ODR Ski Blades?

Kevin Greco, dubbed the “Chief Enthusiast Officer” is the founder of ODR Skis. After growing up skiing in Alaska, he joined the Alaska Department of Fish and Game where he continued to grow his knowledge of the slopes. Kevin later moved to Intel, where he stayed for a year before landing a job at SpaceX where he wrote strategic plans in Mechanical Engineering. While at SpaceX is where he continued to work on ODR’s launch. By creating ODR Skis, Greco aims to continue opening the world of winter sports to everyone while expanding it to those that are veterans.

Founder’s Story

ODR Skis was founded by a community of riders that are deeply passionate about the mountains and have a desire to make ski resorts more accessible. Kevin Greco along with his team have decades of experience on the slopes, and within a few short years, they grew their handful of riders into thousands across more than 41 countries.

Like many businesses, ODR had difficulties in the beginning. Whether it be inventory, social media, or accounting: help was needed. Greco’s long-time friends and local skiing community stepped up to help the company reach a much larger market.

This 2018 period helped ODR become one of the fastest-growing winter sports goods brands in the world.

On Shark Tank Season 12 Episode 7, Kevin Greco came into the Shark Tank looking for $200,000 for 10% for his ski boot blades but after disagreements over his business practices, Greco left the Shark Tank without a deal.

Is ODR Ski Blades Still in Business?

Currently, ODR Skis is expanding into developing more accessories for its brand. While having over 18,000 followers on Instagram, they have appeared on Thrillist, Discovery Channel, People Are Awesome, and AOL.

  1. Ordered a pair in December WAY before Christmas. Today is February 9th and STILL have not received them nor have they responded to any communication. Not to mention they have my money!
