In Season 8 Episode 19, Mark Bernstein appeared on Shark Tank seeking $350,000 for 8% of his appetite curbing candy, MealEnders.

Here’s a quick recap before we dive into the MealEnders Shark Tank update.

• : It’s a good idea but MealEnders isn’t the solution.

• : He thinks he’s on to something but it’s kind of in the supplement/diet market and he doesn’t like that business. He also thinks Mark is going to burn through a lot of money in order to get to scale.

• : This is the first weight reduction product that has come on Shark Tank and hasn’t been torn to shreds. He commends Mark for: not making claims that couldn’t be backed up and giving the Sharks the theory behind the product – and Mr.Wonderful buys it. Unfortunately he doesn’t the taste and for that reason only, he is out.

• : She doesn’t like the taste either. She wishes him good luck but it’s not a product she feels confident about.

• : She loved the eating experience but he’s just gotten started with the business and it’s going to take too much money to get the business going.
