At the Shark Tank, Rolf and George asked for $100000 in exchange for a five percent equity in their company. The Sharks saw incredible potential in the product but were doubtful that $100000 was enough to finance the entire project. After extensive negotiations, the two got $100000 plus unlimited financing from one of the Sharks in exchange for a 70% equity of the company. Should they accept the offer, Daymond John also offered to facilitate the company’s licensing arrangements. Although it was not their initial plan, the partners accepted the offer, and this is hailed as one of the most significant Shark Tank’s success stories.
What Happened After Shark Tank Update
Before their appearance on Shark Tank, Light Film LLC was yet to distribute a single product to their clients. However, partnering with the Sharks took the Light Film LLC company, which was rebranded ‘Powerdecal’ to a whole new level. They secured licensing deals from numerous top sports confederations and over two hundred renowned colleges. They have made light decals with a wide range of themes, including pet, Fire and EMS, military, among others. Even better, the product gained massive traction with most sports leagues, which led to massive production of customized decals representing the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB.
During the day, the Powerdecal is just a regular sticker, while at night, it lights up, showing off its eye-catching LED lights.
