What is LAID Brand?
LAID Brand is a line of professional pheromone-enriched hair products. Using it will have not only the desired effect of attracting a special someone but boost your confidence. Leaving you feeling good, and in turn, getting noticed by others. Not only does it contain pheromones (human chemical scents), but it’ll also leave your hair smelling great, with products that’ll increase shine and repair damaged hair while hydrating and protecting it too.
Who Owns LAID Brand?
The co-founders include CEO Adam Rauch, David Hensley, and Derek Shaw. Adam at the time worked in the sales and marketing of female beauty products, with 13 years of experience in the industry. David worked professionally in hair salons as a celebrity stylist. And Derek joined not long after, having worked primarily as a business strategist.
As of December 2018, the company closed its doors and went out of business — each moving onto other ventures or continuing in their current careers. There is no formal website for LAID Brand, and none of their social media accounts with US addresses or contact details has recent activity. Although LAID Brand products are still available for purchase on Amazon.
The idea for the LAID Brand started in early 2010 when David, with his frontline experience in hair salons, saw a gap in the market for a new hair care product. One that allowed both men and women to not only look their best but feel it too. One that conveyed a sense of lifestyle, confidence, and artistic expression. He got started on a product line, and around this time, he met Adam, a client of his. He pitched the idea to Adam, and with his experience of working for big-name brands in beauty care, saw potential in it too.
Both men envisioned that this product line could ultimately become a brand. They trialed a few pilot products using various types of pheromones and managed to generate $27,000.00 in sales at salons and online. It was around this time that Adam reached out to his university co-alumni Derek to join the company. A business strategist, he could offer direction in terms of insight on investment and production.
