Who Owns Hoppy Paws?

Trina Barkouras is the creator of Hoppy Paws, an idea she had for over 20 years. Before embarking on her dream, Trina had already become an accomplished interior designer but felt she was missing something. In implementing this outstanding dream, she quit her job and never looked back. She is still the CEO of Hoppy Paws.

Founder’s Story

Trina had a troubled childhood and got emancipated at 16 years. Therefore, she lost the thrill of enjoying the festivities. Therefore, to ensure that her children never missed out, she went over and above for them.

The idea to start Hoppy Paws was a result of this unceasing dedication to her children. While living in California, she made reindeer tracks, which excited her children. The delight extended to her neighbors, who were curious about where they could buy such prints.

The inquiries gave birth to Hoppy Paws. However, she engaged in the business as a hobby and would sell the products to their neighbors. She then continued working and raising her family. However, she fully decided to embark on the business on a whim after seeing there were Shark Tank auditions in San Diego.

Trina had only spent three months with Hoppy Paws before appearing on Shark Tank. She used her garage as her first production space. Additionally, she had invested $105,000 towards funding the business.
