After Shark Tank Update

After Hell’s Bells appearance on Shark Tank, there was a lot of back and forth with Daymond John, and eventually, both parties walked away with no contract intact. The three couldn’t seem to agree on the finer details of the contract.

According to the founders, they decided to walk away from the deal because Daymond wanted to take production to China.

Stone believed that taking the product to China would drastically reduce the quality of the helmets.

When asked why he left the deal, Stone replied “I have been to China prior to being on the show and knew they weren’t capable of making any helmet designs to my specifications and the quality I required. They have been cranking out junk for years, everyone has seen the crap they produce. Handing my designs over to them would have killed my brand for sure. What’s so great about that?”

Although the duo walked away without a deal, that didn’t necessarily spell bad news for the company. In fact, the business continued to grow after the shark tank experience.

In addition to creating 3D sporting helmets, the company also designs 3D designs for gas fenders and tanks on motorcycles and hired other fabricators to help with their mass productions.

The company also received so much attention after the show that they secured a deal with FX TV show “Sons of Anarchy” where a few of their custom helmets were featured.

    • Yes! Good update on these two who persevered for quality made in the USA. USA Quality costs more for detailed fabrication like these 3D design add-ons. Damon John dropped the ball in favor of low quality mass production.
