Company Background

What is Earth Log?

EarthLog, made from wax and recycled paper, is a pre-made fire log. These fire logs, sold in three formats, are eco-friendly. Their ability to burn hotter causes them to produce less smoke which makes them perfect for consumers with allergies or respiratory issues. Their ash is also easy to clean.

Who Owns Earth Log?

Tom Sanetti, who attended Cypress College, is from Huntington Beach, California. In the early 2000s, he was a managing partner at High in the Desert as well as vice-president at Eagle American Investments LLC. Sanetti became CEO of American Green Products in 2011, a position he continues to hold today.

Founder’s Story

After trying to find a way to burn his piles of junk mail, Tom Sanetti eventually combined scrap paper with scrap candle wax to create fire logs. He made his fire logs solely for his personal use and to share with friends who later encouraged him to sell them.

He proceeded to market his fire logs which are made completely from recyclable material and made deals with major retailers.

His desire was to make a product that helped ease the burden on the environment created by the endless supply of junk mail, and he wanted his product made in America.
