What is DigiWrap?
Digiwrap Company offers tissue paper and gift bags. However, these are not regular bags. They are unique products that allow clients to personalize them with their images or their company logos.
Through Digiwrap, a client can upload their photo and choose the gift bag or tissue paper texture. The company would then print these items.
Who Owns DigiWrap?
Charlie Williams and Brad Boskovic are the creators of Digiwrap. Before the company, Brad was the President of his family’s printing business. His partner Charlie, who is a seasoned marketer, joined the family business as a Marketing Manager. The duo is still in charge of Digiwrap Company.
Digiwrap business wouldn’t have existed if not for Lingraph’s existence. Digiwrap is technically an offshoot of Lingraph, the reason being the company started when Brad received an order to replicate an artist’s art on gift tissue. The entire work was supposed to be done within 48 hours.
Upon completing the order, the client was so impressed that she was willing to pay ‘whatever amount’ it had taken to complete the order. However, when this client stopped giving orders to Lingraph, the company almost went out of business. This forced the company to make massive restructuring, including firing some employees.
After some persuasions by William, who had been a web specialist at Lingraph, Digiwrap was formed. The company became a standalone business that only concentrated on making personalized gift bags and tissue.
Creating Digiwrap proved to be a grand idea. They were able to convince Zazzle to stock their unique products, and they made some sales through their website. The venture proved fruitful as they sold products worth $350,000, seven-fold what they sold while at Lingraph.
