What is Aquapaw?
Innovation is the answer to problems that don’t exist yet, it is how every single simple product has gone on to generate large amounts of revenue, and it also how Tom Zipfian and Daniel Lentz came up with the product idea of Aqua Paw.
Aquapaw is the company behind the line of innovative pet bathing tools and accessories that make bath time easier for pet owners and their pets. Their flagship product is the Aquapaw Pet Bathing Tool – a wearable sprayer-scrubber attached to an 8 foot long hose.
The Aquapaw is a combination of a pet brush and a bathing tool. In order for the Aqua Paw to work, you must connect a garden hose to the Aqua Paw, and you can control where the water is directed and have water coming out the palm of your hand. This then allows the user to wash and scrub their dog and clean them of dirt efficiently.
Daniel Lentz, who first created the idea of the Aqua Paw, is a lifetime dog owner. After working as an industrial designer for the better part of the last 7 years, he had gone ahead with creating the product in order to make dog washing more efficient for dog owners.
After a successful Kickstarter campaign where they raised $42,073, they began creating their product and shipping it en masse all across the world to individuals who wanted to buy one.
The Aqua Paw had also won the Best in Show award at the Global Pet Expo, giving the product even more recognition and demand. After seeing how wanted their product was, Daniel and Tom had decided to enter the Shark’s Tank in order to give their product the proper funding it needed.
